My husband and I both work from home. We’ve been doing this almost a year and we still do the majority of our work from our kitchen table. Most of the time there are laptops on my kitchen table and it drives me absolutely crazy. We have recently started working on creating an office in our home so that we can try to keep our work life separate from our family life. So, we have been looking at some desks and some office chairs and some office supplies. I actually like the idea of creating a desk by having two longer tables that come together and meet in the corner of the room. I’d love to have filing cabinets as the base so I have a place for all of my files. I think it would work out just great for us and be more affordable than buying a desk.

Fun Times

Since I have moved several times I know how bad things can start to hurt on your body. With our last move the biggest headache and pain ended up being was our truck rental, and not finding were we needed to go. There was just one problem after another. Even after things were sorted out- driving a big truck you’re not used to driving isn’t much fun.

If there’s a next time we move we are going to look into using a one way rental service, hire someone to do it for us, or get a new GPS. This would be perfect for long distance moving. Or you can always find a friend with a curt trailer hitches on his truck and hope he’s willing to make a million small trips to help you move. Or look for a moving company- these companies come to you, pack everything and drop it off at your new home or location. So if any of you are ready to move look into paying someone to do it for you, if you can afford it, it will save you a huge headache.

Acne Problems

Acne can be very difficult to treat. My teenage daughter has terrible acne. We have tried every over the counter acne treatment there is. And we have tried all sorts of prescribed treatments as well. We have finally found something that is working for her. I have seen her self esteem go way up since her acne has started to clear up. Different things work for different people and it can be hard to know what treatments to use. There is a lot of information on the Internet so check out the acne treatment choices and see what you can find that will work for you.

Driving

Did you know that you can reduce your auto insurance by doing a search online for an easy cheap car insurance quote? You can also reduce your rate by driving less, I did. we called our provider and told them that we don’t drive our number 2 that often. They asked how many miles do we drive it a year, and then they slashed our rate. They didn’t even ask to see the car to verify our miles. We’ve been with them for a really long time, and use them for our home insurance and other products, so they trust us. I think if we didn’t use them for other products they would have asked to see the car miles, so be ready to show them. And we really don’t use that car that often, I work from home so it’s driven maybe once a week. What I’m saying here is, don’t settle for what you’re paying now, call your provider or look for another one.

Are you running a business? If you own a business then unfortunately, I’m sure theft is a concern. It’s too bad that everyone is not honest, but that is just the way the world works. So in order to keep your business protected you should probably install a few good compact digital cameras to watch over employees. This should help to deter your customers and employees from trying to steal from you. Do a good search online to find a large variety of security cameras you can pick from. In addition to the security cameras, make sure you have good people working for you. Having good people working for you will make things run smother, and make you money.

Serious Things

I received a new laptop for Christmas last year. Even though it is a brand new laptop it likes to give me trouble. Right now, for some unknown reason- I can not install the latest version of Adobe. Every time I try the install fails. And another problem- I can suddenly not print from my laptop. I was able to plug in and print whatever I wanted and then one day it stopped working. Usually my husband fixes these issues for me, but even he can’t figure out what’s going on. I know it’s not like I have to deal with Mesothelioma or something serious like that, but it’s still pretty annoying. I just hope we can fix it soon before I go nuts.

Using The Internet

Are you one of those people that use the internet for everything, I am? I won’t buy a single thing without looking on the internet for coupons first. I even use the internet to locate local restaurants, and what other are saying about them. There are just way to many places online that offers deals. And not just deals online, but printable coupons as well. Sometimes when I use these internet coupons at our local food store they bark at it a little. They like to ask where I got it, mostly because they want to go print them as well.

Here’s a question for – You think you know your area around you? If so try doing a local search and see what’s around you, you’ll be amazed what you don’t know. I once found a place that I had no idea was there. Another thing to do is use your local yellowpages online, you’ll find a ton of information in your area as well.

This is a hard time to be looking for a job. Our economy is in rough shape and people are losing their jobs. It doesn’t seem like there are many companies out there who are hiring. If you are considering a new career maybe now would be a good time to go back to school. There are many ways to do this, one way is get an online degree. You could start your eduction, complete your education in no time at all. So if you can’t find that job now is a good time to get some education. And until you finsh school take on a the sales jobs, there all over the place right now.

I am starting to plan my daughter’s birthday party which will take place sometime in soon. So it’s time to buy some invitations for the party. I think it might be easier to order something online so that I don’t have to hand-write all of the invitations like I did for her baby shower invitations, and baby thank you cards . So I was checking out a few sites online, which I found some good deals. I found a few sites that offer a ton services that could meet my other needs. There are tons of choices online, to my at this point! I am thinking about having postcards printed for birthday invitations as well. Just really not sure what to do, I do still have a few more months, maybe another site pop up with better deals.

Hosting Providers

As most of you know, in the past we had a lot of problems with my web hosting provider, major problems. Most of the problems I had were related to site outages, followed with long lag times and very poor customer service. I wasted a lot of money and time with the hosting provider that I was using. Now I’m not going to name them, but if I did, you would be very surprised.

Not to long ago I came across a hosting provider that offered dedicated server hosting, not what I was looking for, but worth a shot at taking a long at. Getting a dedicated hosting account could be costly, but much more secured than a shared hosting account.

I also came across a few review site’s that provided reviews from real people on hosting providers. If I would’ve known about this site, I would’ve never chosen the provider that I did in the past. Review site’s for the most part offer good information for the most part. You just need to know who’s providing the information, and if their being paid for it.

I would like to now pose a question to you all. Are you happy with your hosting provider, and are you looking for cheap and reliable web hosting services? If so look for a website that offers independent reviews on the top web hosting providers or cpanel hosting providers. You should then read about all pro’s and con’s of each provider. And don’t be affraid to make the switch, it’s easier than you think.
