My husband and I both work from home.  We’ve been doing this almost a year and we still do the majority of our work from our kitchen table.  Most of the time there are laptops on my kitchen table and it drives me absolutely crazy.  We have recently started working on creating an office in our home so that we can try to keep our work life separate from our family life.  So, we have been looking at some desks and some office chairs and some office supplies.  I actually like the idea of creating a desk by having two longer tables that come together and meet in the corner of the room.  I’d love to have filing cabinets as the base so I have a place for all of my files.  I think it would work out just great for us and be more affordable than buying a desk.
