Do you know what is frustrating? Being on a diet. I hate it. I haven’t lost a single pound since the new year. It’s my own fault, of course because I haven’t worked at it. I still eat what I want, snack way too much and never exercise. Yet, when I stand on the scale I am frustrated to see that same old number. I wish there were fat burner pills out there that I could take and still eat how I want and still lose weight. Of course there are fat burner pills for me or mens fat burner pills for the guys. We all know that isn’t how it works though. Even if you take diet pills you still have to eat healthy and exercise in order to reach your goal. Maybe I’ll start soon, you never know.
I know the holidays are over but I’m always shopping and thinking of what I can get people for Christmas.
Some of the guys on my list to buy for are very hard to shop for. But today I may have found a solution for some of them. I’m thinking that maybe I could buy some of them some board games, or even few game tables. Now I have never tried purchasing something like a game table before but they really do look like something some of my male relatives would want to have.
There’s always things like coffee and food I can buy them too. Maybe some movies or video games too.
For the ladies on my list who are hard to buy for I think that getting them some of best food storage containers would be a great idea. Who can’t use some fun ways to store your food?
How about you? What do you buy for those hard to buy for people?
When I was young I was very tiny. I had no idea how fortunate I was. I ate what I wanted and I stayed teeny-tiny. When I went away to college I wasn’t as active as I had been when I was younger. I was in class all morning, at work in the afternoon and studying in the evenings. There wasn’t much time for being active like I had been. And my eating habits didn’t change. So I started gaining weight. Just a little at first, but before I knew it I was 20 pounds overweight, then 30 pounds… you get the idea. I didn’t want to take diet pills, mostly because of the diet pill side effects. But with the power of the internet you can find the info on just about any diet pill out there. Or even if you need to check out what the lipozene side effects are. You can always get that kind of information on the internet. But make sure you check with your doctor too.
Acne can be very difficult to treat. My teenage daughter has terrible acne. We have tried every over the counter acne treatment there is. And we have tried all sorts of prescribed treatments as well. We have finally found something that is working for her. I have seen her self esteem go way up since her acne has started to clear up. Different things work for different people and it can be hard to know what treatments to use. There is a lot of information on the Internet so check out the acne treatment choices and see what you can find that will work for you.
My skin is terrible during the winter. It’s so dry and itchy it drives me crazy! I use a lot of lotion on most of my body. But my problem is my face. It’s very dry with red patchy spots. But if I use lotion on my face I get pimples. If I don’t use lotion my face is so dry. I need to look into the best skin care products and see if I can find a moisturizer that doesn’t make me break out. I use foundation so I don’t think it’s very noticeable, but it’s still not comfortable.
Last winter my DH took on a major project and renovated our family room. It wasn’t very attractive looking when we bought the house. It had dark paneling that looked like it was from the 70s. It looked dark and just didn’t feel warm and inviting. So he ripped it all out and put up new sheet rock walls. He painted them and now it looks fantastic! While he had the walls ripped out he put the wires for our home speakers behind the walls so you can’t see them. I love the end product!
Back several years ago before I was a mom, I worked as a teacher. The first days of school were always pretty crazy and interesting. I got to meet all sorts of children and their parents. And often times siblings and grandparents and aunts and uncles. When someone I didn’t know came to pick up a child I would always verify who that person was. It always amused me when the person would get upset that I was making sure they were supposed to take a certain child. I had a lot of kids to keep track of and since no one had to wear name tags I couldn’t always remember every person I had ever met. You would think people would appreciate that, but strangely many did not.
Did you know that you can reduce your auto insurance by doing a search online for an easy cheap car insurance quote? You can also reduce your rate by driving less, I did. we called our provider and told them that we don’t drive our number 2 that often. They asked how many miles do we drive it a year, and then they slashed our rate. They didn’t even ask to see the car to verify our miles. We’ve been with them for a really long time, and use them for our home insurance and other products, so they trust us. I think if we didn’t use them for other products they would have asked to see the car miles, so be ready to show them. And we really don’t use that car that often, I work from home so it’s driven maybe once a week. What I’m saying here is, don’t settle for what you’re paying now, call your provider or look for another one.
Again, more weight things.
I know that most people out there would like to lose some weight, click here. Considering that more than half of the people in the US are overweight, I know this is of interest to many people. So, what can you do to lose some of those unwanted pounds?
Obviously, you can eat less. Watch how many calories you are eating. And make healthy choices for the calories you are eating. I don’t recommend diet pills, or those ones that some call diet pills. I recommend taking walks and eating less, works for me. If you do take diet pills I recommend that you search around the internet for information to see what will work for you. What I would recommend is stop filling up on chips and cookies when you’re getting ready for bed. However, eating the things you enjoy in moderation usually works the best, just not before bed.
And last exercise, most people love to use the excuse that they just don’t have time to exercise. Funny thing is, you have time to be on the computer, to watch TV, to read a book, etc. Take 20-30 minutes each day and set it aside for exercise, you’ll feel a lot better, try it!
I am looking for some more ideas for more tips and tricks topics. One topic is skincare, anyone have any good ideas? I heard that there was only a few good skin care products worth to trying. I never use skin care products, so I really don’t have much to say about them. If anyone has ever used these products leave me a comment to let me know how it worked for you. I sure would love to share it with others here and my other blogs. I’m also looking for ideas on weight loss, how to lose weight. It seems lately that nothing is really working for me, so any ideas would be welcomed.
