Maybe you have just purchased your first dog.  Or maybe you’ve had a dog for many years.  Either way- there are bound to be times that questions come up and you’re not sure what the answers are in regards to your dog.  For many people our furry four legged friends are a part of the family and treated much the same as the as the humans are.  That is certainly how it is in our home.  I was looking at a new site today all about dog care.  PetWave is still a some what of a new company, just getting started but already has some great information.  Check out their site if you need some information about your pet, and be sure to check back as they add new information and features.

Did you plan on making a resolution for this coming new year?  How is it going?  So far I’m doing pretty good with the goals I set for myself last year.  The one thing I am struggling with is losing weight.  I don’t have a lot left to lose and I know that last pounds are the hardest to lose.  But it’s frustrating.  I wonder how many people were really motivated at the start of last year and went out and bought treadmill. Or how do you think the people are doing that said they were no longer going to smoke their cigarillo cigars? Smoking will kill you, that’s a fact, no lying or bending the truth about that.  Anyway, most people will get or feel discouraged and quit and give up their goals.  I’m pretty sure it usually happens by the end of January.  Although I’m not giving up I am discouraged.

If you’ve lost your hair then you know how much your hair has an effect on your life.  I once read that men, and even women try crazy things to get their hair to grow back. They even purchase hair loss shampoo to help their hair grow. Most people losing their hair would just about buy and try anything that they think would help. Losing your hair can make your self confidence low and can make you look at yourself differently.  I know that for women it is even worse.  If you are a woman who is dealing with hair loss you will even look into getting a hair piece, or wig if you well.  Some even go as far as getting real human hair wigs. Some are even doing hair replacement surgery. Whether you are male or female if you are looking for a natural look without having to go through hair replacement surgery then consider the wig. Losing hair is life, it’s just how it is.

Are you still looking for ideas for those who are on your Christmas list?  Do you have anyone looking to take a cruise on your list?  If you do- then I have found the site for you.  You’re going to want to check out a bermuda cruise. There are a ton of deals out there for cruises. And during this time of the year you will have no problem finding some great deals going on during this holiday season.

Do you have some credit card debt that you need to pay off? Here are a few tips to help you along the way:

  1. Pay more than the minimum monthly payment. If you only pay the minimum you will end up paying two or three times more than the item cost you to begin with, or even more. Interest rates make it hard to get ahead if you only make the minimum payment.
  2. Do not create any new debt. If you can’t pay cash, don’t buy the item.
  3. Track your spending- do this for at least a month. Once you write down where every penny is going you might be surprised to see how much money you’re spending that you could be using towards paying off your debt.
  4. Call your credit card companies and try to negotiate a lower interest rate.
  5. See if you can transfer the balances off of the higher interest cards to your lower interest rate cards.
  6. Figure out which credit card has the highest interest rate and pay as much as possible towards that balance. Once that is paid off start paying down the next highest interest rate.

I found an interesting/weird news story to share with you today.  I read about this crazy man who opened his neighbor’s door using a chain saw.  Pretty scary.  Now you might think the neighbor was hiding something inside, not the case.  What happened was this man began sawing through the front door of neighbor’s apartment because he was angry.  Apparently the neighbor had a friend visiting and the friend parked in front of his home.  I guess the bad guy had a problem with that because he went to the neighbor’s door and told him to open the door or he’d cut it down.  Then he started sawing through the door with the chain saw. He’s going to need to get a band saw blades after this cut.

A jury convicted the bad guy of attempted burglary, attempted criminal trespass and terroristic threats and he is now facing up to 37 years in prison.

Since today was a shooping day we just did that, went shopping. I was curious to see how many people would be out shopping today. With our tough economy I know that many people are cutting back.

We checked all of the fliers and didn’t really see any spectacular sales but decided to head out to the mall anyways. The parking lot looked pretty full but once we got inside it was pretty empty. The mall was just about ready for Christmas- the Nativity was set up, Santa’s workshop was in the process of being set up and the Christmas music was playing.

Even though we didn’t head out with any specific items in mind I bought a few things. Later on in the evening we went to a great book sale at a book store, saw a neat looking VeloBind, not for me though. After that sale we went and got some dinner and went home. Overall- it was a pretty good shopping day- we found some really great deals and didn’t spend much at all but ended up with several great items.
