I am planning to make tomorrow a day filled with shopping. I have so much to get done. I am really starting to feel overwhelmed. I need to check stores for all sorts of different items I am looking for. And I need to start looking online for what I can not find. And I need to do it quickly or I won’t have time to get everything done.
I have some interesting things on my list that I am looking for- a headlight for a bike, a glass cylinder shaped measuring cup, led christmas lights, and so much more. Why can’t people just ask for things I can find at Target? Oh well- everyone has their own things they want and I want to get everyone what they want. Some people probably wonder why I want some of the things I want.
So tomorrow I am off to get a whole bunch of shopping done!
Does your car need a little tune up? Or how about your body? It might be time to break out the old pull up bar, which I can’t do, a pull up. I don’t think I was ever able to do a pull up. Anyway, my car howver does need a tune up, which fortunately my husband can take care of all of that kind of stuff for me. It sure saves us a lot of money that he is so knowledgeable about cars. He recently put all new brakes on my car, in the front and the back, which would have cost quite a bit to have done at the dealership. He can do pretty much any job that needs to be done.
A few weeks ago (I think) I wrote about this couple in PA who received more than$175,000 in their bank account in error. They quit their jobs and moved to FL.
The latest news on this story is that the man involved said he DID attempt to let the bank know what happened, but they ignored him. So, he thought the money was a gift from God. He remains in jail as he cannot pay his bail. His wife is out on bail but she claims she is no longer with her husband.
Now hopefully you’re not doing this- since it’s against the law. But, say you’re planning to rob a gas station. What is one thing you would make sure you did before you robbed the gas station? I’m not an expert on robbing anything since I’ve never stolen anything in my whole life. But, play along with me here. You might have a mask of some sort, a plan of where you were going to go afterwards, etc. Oh- and you would also want to make sure you had enough gas in your car to get away. Right?
Well, not the 23 year old who used a Bowie knife to rob a Cape Haze (Fl.) gas station. After he robbed the gas station a customer followed him and called 911. The police were out looking for him when a newspaper carrier saw a car that matched the one described in the robbery. Apparently he had ran out of gas nearby. After robbing a gas station, of all things. Why didn’t he just fill up first? He was arrested several hours after the robbery.
Next time he might want to think it through a little better.
My sister Terra is going through some tough times. She is the mother of three, the wife of one, and she has to support them all. This might sound difficult already, but what makes it worse is that she lives on Long Island. If you’re not familiar with prices and expenses on Long Island, they’re through the roof. For example, her taxes are $13,000 per year. And now the pressure is really about to hit because she’s about to get laid off. I have no idea how to help her. I have tried several things, but she continuously blows me off. I feel like she’s offended when I offer assistance. I’m now writing her e-mails with my hughesnet satellite Montana connection to offer support. She seems to respond better to something written than something verbal, so I’ll stick with that approach. I’ve even looked on the hughes internet at job listings and sent them to her to try and help out.
If you happened to catch ‘wife of one’ and ‘support them all,’ then yes, that does mean her husband doesn’t work. What makes this tricky is that she loves him very much. And he’s also a very personable individual. He can talk his way into and out of anything. This should lead to a job, but the problem is that he uses his skills to get away with being lazy. Maybe I have been trying to offer assistance to the wrong person. Maybe he needs some kind of psychological help or some type of motivational therapy. Who knows. I’ll try anything at this point.
Do you know what is frustrating me these days? Being on the same old diet I’ve been on for the last 6 months. I haven’t lost what I wanted to at this point. I think what I need to do is work out more, I’m eating good stuff. I’m not snacking the way I did when I first started, so what’s the problem? When I get on that scale I am frustrated to see that I’m losing such a small amount. There has to be a way to give my weightloss a boost. I’m not looking to take diet pills, even if the lipofuze reviews say it’s safe, not happening. Even if I did take diet pills you still have to eat healthy and exercise, so why take them. What I’m going to do is stay focused and try not to get so frustrated, I feel better already.
I can’t remember if I told you about this before- but my husband got a new laptop for Christmas. He has needed one for almost a year. His other one was just worn out. So I wanted to surprise him but since I had no idea what to buy I just let him pick it out. After he opened his present he left it in the box for a couple of weeks. He was trying to decide if he wanted to return it. Finally the last day to return it came and went so he opened it up. He really enjoyed it for the first couple of weeks. He needed to move everything from his old laptop to his new one. It’s not a very fun process, but it had to be done. Then after a couple of weeks the new laptop started having problems. It ended up being the mother board- which had to be replaced. Crazy, right? Anyways- the laptop is back and working just great. For now.
