Do you know if you are at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest? I was looking at some information today about this topic and was very surprised to learn that almost 900 people die every day from SCA. That’s a lot of people. And if you do suffer SCA- it will likely happen without any warning. It is essential that you begin receiving treatment within 4 to 6 minutes of the occurrence to increase your chances of surviving.

Inside Cardiac Arrest is presented by St. Jude Medical and gives a lot of information about the warning signs, what your risk factors are, and the treatment for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. One thing I would recommend is staying away from pills that don’t help your body. What I mean are pills like, diet pills and even extenze related products unless recommended by your doctor.

Most of us can’t afford one, so joining a club is our best bet.

I just talked a little while ago about how I am getting discouraged with my weight loss, well it’s happening again for me. I don’t have nuch to lose, but I’m still getting discouraged again. It seems like every step I take forward I’m taking two steps back. What I need to do is start taking supplements to give me a boost. Supplements are a good idea if you know what you’re taking. Just don’t pop a pill if you don’t know what it will do for you. I always read about anything I take, and so should everyone else. And stay away from those diet pills, they don’t work.

I don’t think there are a lot of people in the US who have vision insurance.  I was reading an article on New York Times about this very thing.  It stated that only 17% of employers offer a vision plan to their employees.  We did have vision insurance until my husband became self-employed.  Now?  No vision insurance for us.  But guess what?  I need glasses.  I need them in order to see far away.  So, I have two choices.  Don’t wear any eyeglasses and have a hard time seeing.  Or cough up a bunch of money for glasses.

Turns out- there is another choice.  In that very same article in New York Times they mention an optical site that offers discounts on eyeglasses and anti wrinkle eye cream .  This company offers generic frames which includes your lenses for $8 and up, email me and I’ll direct you to the site.  Now that?  I can afford.  I can even afford to buy a couple of pairs just in case I lose or ruin one.

Basically what I am telling you is- if you need glasses but you don’t have a vision plan you can still afford to buy the glasses you need.

If you own a home then you know you need to have insurance on your home. If you don’t have insurance you’re making a huge mistake. You really need to have that insurance to protect your home as well as your valuables that are inside your home. The same goes for life insurance, you need it so your love one can make it without your income. I think everyone should have life insurance. And with the power of the internet it’s very easy to find term life insurance rates online. But with all of the choices out there how can you possibly know the best insurance you could have? I recommend finding sites that show rates of other providers. But don’t take their word for it, go check the others at as well. The more you know what others are charging the better. Don’t settle for the first one you come across, take the time and make sure you’re getting the best service at the best rate.

I know that most people are usually looking for some ways to save some money. Especially with how our economy is right now, most of us don’t have a whole lot of extra money to spend. One way you can save yourself some money is to look for the best deals on insurance plans, like disability insurance . Use the internet and search for the best rates, there out there.

When my husband I first got married we spent quite a bit of time looking for the best insurance company for our insurance needs. And by we, I mean me. I made a lot of phone calls. I made sure we got all of the discounts possible. And we are definitely saving quite a bit of money on our insurance. So, make sure you shop around for the best rates.

Say you have your home with your bedrooms, living room, kitchen, family room, bathrooms, etc.  You also have a basement with all sorts of space.  But, you are worried that doing anything in the basement could result in damage if you have problems with water.  That is a lot of space to be wasting though.  So, what should you do?

Finding a good waterproofing company could be hard, but there out there.  There are several different causes to the problem of basement cracks and leaks.  Find a company that you feel you can work with. And make sure they offer a basic list of water services that include:

Floor Seepage
Wall Seepage
Cracks
Efflorescence

If you are interested in a solution to your water problems in your basement open up your phone book and call on a few basement contractors to find one that’s just right for you.

There are a lot of ways to save money, one way are blogs. There are a ton of blogs out there. I even came across a carinsurancelist blog . Which is kind of funny since we ever use one of our cars. However my wife wants to keep it on the road in case our main car breaks down. So a friend of ours recommended we call our insurance provider to get some new low rate. Sure enough- they lowered our rate because we rarely drive it. They do however want to know how far we drive, which isn’t very much at all. I think it’s like 50 miles a month, if that. I would recommend that everyone call their provider, it worked for us.

How do you do your shopping, do you look for deals of the day ?  My preference is to do it online.  It seems that these days it is actually cheaper to shop online.

For one- gas is outrageously expensive.  Driving around and going to various stores looking for good deals now costs so much in gas that is just isn’t worth it.  When you shop online you can look around and make sure you’re getting the cheapest deals.

Second- if you have kids then you know it isn’t any fun at all to get the kids in and out of the car to go into the stores.

So, for me I do most of my shopping online.  Plus many stores will offer free shipping so you really are saving by not paying for gas.

Things have really changed lately.  For one thing I am working again.  Not that I ever really stopped working- being a mom is the hardest job I have ever had.  But I am also working outside of the home again.  It’s only for a few hours each day, so I am only away from my daughter for a little while.  But it still hurts my heart that I am away from her.  It makes me want to cry every day when I go.  The job is okay- it goes by fast, but I still feel like I should be home with my daughter until she goes to school.  It would be nice if my husband gave me some chocolate candies to help me feel better.  It might make feel a little better.
