So did you read my rant on my other blogt? Go ahead and read it. I’ll wait…

Back? Okay good.

I have a better idea. Rather than broadcast to the entire world that I’m really upset with this person right now, I think I’m going to go shopping. Good idea, right? Medicate myself by spending money going shopping. I could spend the whole day shopping at the mall- get some new shoes, clothes, or some new luggage, maybe a new Jack Georges case for myself. Heaven knows I’ll feel better if I spend a couple hundred dollars on a pair of shoes. Okay, so I’m kidding… kind of. I know I will feel better if I take shopping trip and spend a bunch of money. But it will only be temporary and then I’ll feel even worse. Cuz then I’ll still be mad, have worked nothing out and have spent a bunch of money.

So I guess it would probably be best if I just talk to this person.

I posted a little earlier on my other blog today about how I like to do some shopping online so that I can save money. And while that is a great reason to do online shopping, I have another reason for doing it. I had a toddler. She does not share my love for shopping. Well, actually she does- but only for about 30 seconds. Then the screaming starts. But today I did some shopping online, looked at some day cream and she played with her toys and ran around the house. No being strapped in the stroller and no screaming, well a little bit of screaming at our dog, but generally it was a pretty smooth shopping day.

Stocks Start Up!

The Dow and other markets are up over last year. Only time will tell if it will last on Wall Street. The price of gold is on the up and up as well. Just around every corner you can find people and businesses selling gold, and gold bullion . The real question everyone should be asking is, “will this last?” A few exprerts think it’s all going to crash again, while others think their nuts. At this point anything can still happen, the world is still very unstable. I just hope that everything turns around, and stay’s turned around.

Marriage is hard work. Add some children to the mix and it’s even harder. But, if you are your spouse are happy and loving towards each other then your children will be happier. If you are comfortable leaving your children with a babysitter have a date night once a week or once a month- whatever works for you- just make sure you have some alone time together. Get yourself looking nice for your date just like you did when you were actually dating. Use some make up and the best day creams and get your hair styled. If possible take a nice getaway together once in awhile. Don’t forget your international travel insurance if you travel abroad. If you do not leave your children with a babysitter you can always wait for the kids to go to bed before and then enjoy each others company. Have a romantic candle lit dinner, watch a romantic movie, give each other back rubs, or just sit together and hold hands or cuddle.

I used to belong to a particular mommy group.  I didn’t really hit it off with any of the moms.  It felt like everyone was already friends with each other and that I never really fit in.  When I left the room I wondered what they were saying about me.  I hated that feeling.  But they did do one thing that I thought was a really cute idea.  That had shirts made with the name of the group on them.  They were cute and also a way to advertise to find more members for the group.  Using embroidered products for something like this is really worth it.  I think embroidered shirts look professional. My husband would like to see the men get tuxedo shirts for his group, he doesn’t get it.

At threadsmith.com you can get custom made embroidered shirts like the ones they had made.  You don’t need a minimum number in your order and you don’t have to pay a set up fee.  Check ‘em out!
