There are many forms to treat anxiety.  If you are suffering from anxiety then you know what a terrible feeling it is to feel anxious all of the time.  Of course there are medications that can be taken but I think it’s usually better to try other treatments before resorting to medication.  Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Cut out the coffee or whatever your main source of caffiene is.
  2. Exercise.  It might sound relatively simple but it really does help.
  3. Get outside or let some sunlight in.
  4. Use various relaxation techniques.
  5. Cognitive Behavior Therapy- where you learn how to recognize and change your thought patterns.

And if the anxiety is worsening or interfering with your day to day life you will probably need to take medication.
